  1. Hi, I wonder could you help me please? I’ve booked 2 weekend tickets for this Friday 14th Feb (as I thought Friday would class as a weekend ticket). Can we still use them on Friday or do we have to use Saturday/Sunday? I haven’t received any ticket confirmation yet, just PayPal confirmation of payment.

    Thanks,
    Daena

  2. Can we come at your baths in the evening around 08:00 Pm and use the pools until 09:45? Can we pay there and check-in so late?

    • Szechenyi Spa Baths

Hi Gentiana, You can purchase entry tickets at the Baths until 9 pm. Please note these are not fast track entry tickets.
Have a great time in one of the most beautiful Thermal Spas in Budapest!

      Hi Amanda,
Towels are not included in the standard tickets.
You can either rent a towel or buy one in a package. You can read more about the rental prices here
You can read more information about the different Bath Kit Packages here

  4. Hi, if we check in at 11 can we stay for as long as we would like or there is a time limit?

    • Szechenyi Spa Baths

Hi Fiona, the bath ticket is for a full day stay, so you can stay until the closing hours in the baths.

Enjoy your thermal bath visit and Budapest stay!

  5. Hi, I’m from the UK and wondering what the baths actually are. It’s me and my friend visiting and we’re wondering what’s included, how long we get in there, what we bring etc.

      Hi Lucy,

Thank you for planning your visit to Szechenyi Spa & Baths.
For first time visitors this page is probably the best guide to start with – services, pools etc.: http://szechenyispabaths.com/services/

Also some tips what to bring to the baths: http://szechenyispabaths.com/what-shall-i-take-with-me-to-szechenyi-baths-szechenyi-bath-faq/

In essence, try to picture a building complex, like a grand mansion with various rooms of all sizes, which have pools of all sizes. In addition, there are saunas, a gym, rooftop sunbathing (in summer), cafeteria, massage rooms, shower rooms, rows of cabins (changing cubicles) etc.
What there isn’t in the baths is water themed entertainment that are typically featured in more contemporary buildings, like a water theme park: there are no water slides or tubes, no inflatable toys, no loud music (unless you go to the Saturday night bath party at Szechenyi Baths, where there is plenty of loud music). If you would prefer to visit a water park or water themed amusement park there is a great complex in northern Budapest (AquaWorld in District 4), or a summer resort on Margaret Island called Palatinus Lido.

  6. Hello, we are visiting on monday 9th of May and have a very tight schedule. Can you tell us is there a waiting line to entry even with fast track tickets on a monday, or do long waiting lines appear only on saturday and sunday? For how long is the estimated wait?
    Thank you!

    • Szechenyi Spa Baths

      Hello Ema,
waiting lines can not be easily predicted. Mondays are usually less busy and it is more likely to have a big queue on a weekend day.
We recommend the arrival in the morning hours just after 9 am as most guests are arriving in the early afternoon hours.
Hope we can welcome you at Szechenyi Spa Baths!
