  1. antonio rodenas rochina

I will travell to Budapest in august.
I would like to know if i can go to the thermal baths with de sanitiy card or without a vaccine from covid. Just with the PCR that i will use to go to Hungary.

    • Szechenyi Spa Baths

      Hello Antonio,

Thank you for your inquiry about Szechenyi thermal baths entry requirements.

Since the Hungarian vaccination level has reached the target number 5.5 million vaccinated, since July 3rd 2021 Covid passports have been no longer required to enter the thermal baths in the city of Budapest, including Szechenyi Bath (wearing masks and presenting immunity cards are no longer required in most of the places of attractions in Budapest).
      Enjoy your stay in Budapest!

  2. Hello,
We are visiting budapest this weekend and would really really like to visit the baths. We have a 2 plus year old with us but she is completely potty trained. Can she join in too? Thanks a lot.

  3. Javier Pérez Blanco

I will visit Szechenyi Baths in 27 september, and i want to know the prices of the tickets there.
I aslo want to know if you recomend me to buy tickets online or buy it there.

  4. Are the cabins secure to leave your belongings

    • Szechenyi Spa Baths

      Hello David,
The cabin is like a tiny room, the size is that of a changing cubicle, where you can get changed and store your belongings (some guests are leaving for the airport directly, and leave their suitcase / backpack in the cabin. You can also book a safe, however, if you have anything of particular value. Please note that the baths are very busy, and we do not recommend storing / bringing items of considerable value with yourself to the baths, such as jewellery, valuable wrist watches, etc.).

The door of the Cabin has a unique chip code lock, which opens and closes with a special waterproof bracelet: in fact, your digital ticket will be replaced with a waterproof wristband, which incorporates the chip for the locker / cabin.
As you are wearing the band all the times, it is quite secure if you make sure that the door is not left open.

Enjoy your visit at Szechenyi Spa Baths!

  5. Hi! If a buy a ticket for the whole day, can I get out of the baths if i want and come back in later? Or if I go out I can’t go back in?

    • Szechenyi Spa Baths

      Dear Javier,

The Bath ticket is a single pass, not a multipass: if you leave the baths you will not be able to use the same ticket again.
There is a cafeteria on site and many guests stay in the baths for half a day or all day (changing pools and facilities, sunbathing etc.)
Please allow at least 2 hours for the thermal baths to enjoy it.

  6. Hello, we are hoping to come to the baths in October. We are from the Netherlands and have all been fully vaccinated. Are we able to enter the baths with our Covid QR passports? The rules are not very clear at the moment. Thank you!

    • Szechenyi Spa Baths

      Hello Jason,
Thank you for contacting us about the spa baths entry requirements.
Since the Hungarian vaccination level has reached the target number 5.5 million, from July 3rd 2021 Covid passports will no longer be needed to enter the thermal baths (wearing masks and presenting immunity cards are no longer required in most of the places of attractions in Budapest). Please check the general travel regulations to Hungary before making a reservation.

      Enjoy your visit to Budapest!
