Szechenyi Baths & Pool: Fun Place, Fine Palace

Szechenyi Baths (built in 1913) is the most visited and much praised attraction in Budapest: relaxing, fun, affordable and, at night, romantic. In addition to the marvellous medicinal natural hot spring waters in the 18 pools, there are 10 saunas / steam cabins, several massage therapies, facial treatments, and more.

Szechenyi Spa Baths is in the biggest green park of Budapest, in the City Park, close to a bunch of Budapest attractions. The  Neo-baroque palace was specifically built for hosting Szechenyi Baths as Hungary has been the country of baths (and Budapest the City of Baths) for many centuries: starting with the Roman settlers who built the first spa baths, through the 16th century Turkish occupiers who built many of the famous and revived Turkish baths in Budapest to the 19-20th century natural medical trends that promote aqua therapies and their deeply beneficial effects. The beautiful building of the spa baths is the design of Gyozo Czigler (Győző Czigler) who started to build Szechenyi Furdo in May 1909.

Come and enjoy your time in Budapest in Szechenyi Spa Baths, in a beautiful, richly decorated palace. The perfect place to chill out, to get to know locals, make business deals and fall in love.

  2. Hello
I went to the baths but they didn’t let us in because we aren’t from the 5 specific countries although we had a negative PCR test …So why I should be from a specific country to enter ?? Isn’t it racist ??
P.S. No one inform us about that
You should inform the travellers more

  3. Hi! Me and my partner are travelling to Budapest on the 14th of June to watch Portugal Vs Hungary at the Euros. Our match ticket along with our PCR test will mean we are exempt from quarantine and other restrictions whilst we stay in Budapest. We would really love to visit the baths and was wondering if we would be permitted entry? Please it would be a dream

    Kind regards, Rais

    Hi,

We are 4 adult+ baby coming to the Euro 2020 games, we also have an Israeli Pfizer Vaccine certificate in English. Two of us also have Hungarian passport.
I understand there is approval for Euro 2020 visitors to access all attractions.

Please confirm we can come June 18-20.
What are the best deals you can offer? – Only for the bath? combined ticket with cruise? Any party on those dates?

    Regards,
