  2. hi – maybe you can help me.
I’m trying to make a reservation for 2 tickets+massages for the 8 of february.
the problem is that the website transfer me automatically to paypal but I want to pay with my card.
    what should I do?

    • Szechenyi Spa Baths

      Dear Mor,
You do not need to have a PayPal account for payment. The booking form automatically redirects you to the PayPal page, where you can pay by card without owning or opening a PayPal account, simply using the interface of PayPal. On the page, you can see a grey button saying “Check Out as a Guest”. If you click on it, you can fill out your card payment details, and after clicking “Pay Now”, you are all set.

  3. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 5 and 9). Myself and my wife would like to have the aroma massage while our kids will just be watching. After that, all 4 of us would like to use the spa/baths. How to book this type of ticket ?

    • Szechenyi Spa Baths

      Dear G,
in this case you will need to make 2 separate bookins.
One for your massages (massage & ticket for 2 persons) and one for tickets only for the children (2 tickets).

  4. Just done payment, would I get a confirmation email from you? Cause I didn’t get one yet. Or I can just show paypal payment confirmation email? Thanks!

    • Szechenyi Spa Baths

      Dear Olivia,

Thank you for your inquiry. Your bath e-ticket was resent to your email address. We kindly ask you to check both your mailbox and spam folder as well.

We wish you a wonderful bath experience in Budapest!

  5. For massage, is it necessary for the guest to be 18 years or older? Any treatment that is suitable for 13 years old girl?

    • Szechenyi Spa Baths

      Dear Janet,

Thank you for your comment. Massages can only be booked for guests of minimum 18 years of age.
      Have a great day.

  6. Hi there,

We’re looking to book a hen do for August 2020 – or possibly Easter 2022 if Covid continues.

There are 13 of us and would each want a days access to the pool, alongside a massage.

Am I right in believing that there are no bookings going ahead at this present time?

Could you inform me as to what would be the best steps please?

    Kind regards,

    • Szechenyi Spa Baths

      Hello Emma,

      Thank you for contacting us.

I’m assuming you are planning your visit in the summer of 2021, which looks a great idea (based on last year’s summer rules and stats).

That said, in these uncertain times, we recommend the following steps to be taken before planning your visit to any of the thermal baths in Budapest (2021 advice, hopefully 2022 will be much more predictable and well managed through the general vaccination against coronavirus).

1, Plan ahead with borders in mind (your own country’s and Hungary’s governments keep updating travel dates and regulations, so keep it flexible
2, Even if you book you may wish to book a good travel insurance including changes due to Covid 19
3, We suggest inquiring about opening hours, massages etc. approx. 1-2 weeks before your planned visit – be prepared that the baths may be closed, or some services may have been booked up once they can be reserved in advance – ideally, please have some secondary plans to feel great in Budapest and avoid unnecessary frustrations
4, Pay your services on the spot rather than in advance – again, be prepared to re-schedule flexibly as spaces are limited (most notably massages, if / when they re-open for general visitors)
5, Keep yourself and others safe if your visit has no more obstacles – and again, keep an open mind about your trip and enjoy whatever you decide and you are able to do in Budapest
