Szechenyi Baths (built in 1913) is the most visited and much praised attraction in Budapest: relaxing, fun, affordable and, at night, romantic. In addition to the marvelous medicinal natural hot spring waters in the 18 pools, there are 10 saunas / steam cabins, several massage therapies, facial treatments, and more.

Szechenyi Spa Baths is in the biggest green park of Budapest, in the City Park, close to a bunch of Budapest attractions. The  Neo-baroque palace was specifically built for hosting Szechenyi Baths as Hungary has been the country of baths (and Budapest the City of Baths) for many centuries: starting with the Roman settlers who built the first spa baths, through the 16th century Turkish occupiers who built many of the famous and revived Turkish baths in Budapest to the 19-20th century natural medical trends that promote aqua therapies and their deeply beneficial effects. The beautiful building of the spa baths is the design of Gyozo Czigler (Győző Czigler) who started to build Szechenyi Furdo in May 1909.

      Dear Alice,
      we would warmly recommend to book the massage treatment online as it is very likely that there won’t be any available time slots on your visiting day. Appointments are subject to availability. Please note that we can only book a massage after payment has taken place as massage hours are limited. Once payment has come through, as pointed out earlier, we will strive to book you in closest to your preferred massage hours. If we cannot offer a suitable time for you, the price of the massage will be refunded.

    Good afternoon. I booked tickets for my husband and myself to spend some time at The Baths and have a massage. Unfortunately, I booked 2 tickets, as it was for two people but realise now I should have only booked 1 ticket. I replied immediately to your booking agent and gave had no reply yet.
    We still want to attend our booking but wish to know what to do about the extra ticket, for two people, which I have paid for.

    Hello Julia, if you have overbooked the bath tickets, you can get a refund for them. The refund is usually given at the Help Desk upon check in (or in rare cases, refunded online). We are checking your request with the booking agent. Thank you for contacting us.
