Szechenyi Baths & Pool: Fun Place, Fine Palace

Szechenyi Baths (built in 1913) is the most visited and much praised attraction in Budapest: relaxing, fun, affordable and, at night, romantic. In addition to the marvellous medicinal natural hot spring waters in the 18 pools, there are 10 saunas / steam cabins, several massage therapies, facial treatments, and more.

Szechenyi Spa Baths is in the biggest green park of Budapest, in the City Park, close to a bunch of Budapest attractions. The  Neo-baroque palace was specifically built for hosting Szechenyi Baths as Hungary has been the country of baths (and Budapest the City of Baths) for many centuries: starting with the Roman settlers who built the first spa baths, through the 16th century Turkish occupiers who built many of the famous and revived Turkish baths in Budapest to the 19-20th century natural medical trends that promote aqua therapies and their deeply beneficial effects. The beautiful building of the spa baths is the design of Gyozo Czigler (Győző Czigler) who started to build Szechenyi Furdo in May 1909.

Come and enjoy your time in Budapest in Szechenyi Spa Baths, in a beautiful, richly decorated palace. The perfect place to chill out, to get to know locals, make business deals and fall in love.

      • Hi’
I have just purchased an entrance ticket for tomorrow but have not received any confirmation from the bath, only from PayPal. So is my reservation valid?

    • Awful staff and customer service which is a shame as the spa itself is great! Paid for 2 people thermal baths and 20 min massage. Never received confirmation of the massage times so I turned up 20 mins before the requested time to be told we were late and have missed the first massage. Staff were rude, unhelpful and ignorant! Refusing to do anything to help saying it was my fault. Have complained by email but this has also been ignored!

  6. Hello I booked online on the 16th September, buying 4 tickets for 17th September which is today , but when I went to my emails I had an email saying payment had been declined, so I went and ordered another 4. Once I’d ordered the second lot of tickets I checked my emails and both had gone through. I’ve bought 4 tickets twice but only wanted them once. Is there any way of refunding the second lot of 4 tickets as it was a mistake, Thankyou.
