Bath Party Tickets with Locker for safe storage (Euro)

Depending on the Euro currency, for almost the same price you would pay at the cashier of Szechenyi Baths, but if you are on a tight budget, you can save 1-2 Euros by queuing at the Cashier in Szechenyi Thermal Bath. Please check the current prices here: Szechenyi Bath Prices. You can book your tickets online via our booking form on the left side. Groups of 10 or over can contact us for a group discount. Please note that party tickets are sold separately, and are not identical with the bath tickets!

Massage Treatments are best to be booked in advance, as the available massages are quickly sold out in advance (massage is for bath guests only, who have a valid bath ticket). Same day massage therapies are very hard to find. More info about massage therapies: Szechenyi Bath Massage

Party Tickets:  Bath party tickets in Szechenyi Bath are different from regular bath tickets. The bath ticket is only valid until 10 pm, while sparty tickets are valid on Saturday nights from 10 pm. More info about sparties here: Szechenyi Bath Parties

Fast Track Entry in Szechenyi Baths

In Hungarian Forint, you can buy your bath entry for the same price as at the cashier, but you do not need to stand in a line for an endless time (a life savior on hot summer days, and cold winter peak days).

BOOKING

In Euro, for about an extra € 1 (depending on currency changes) you can buy your peace of mind, and skip the long lines of locals and tourists trying to get in the famous baths. By purchasing the Fast Track Entry to Szechenyi Spa & Thermal Baths you not only skip the hassle of having to wait for getting into the baths, but you will also ensure entering the baths via our private entrance at the Help Desk with officials speaking English.

Please note that massage treatments need to be booked at least 24 hours in advance (48 hours at weekends), but bath tickets can be booked for the same day, or next day too. Online tickets are confirmed via email: the confirmation email is your bath e-ticket, so if you have a smartphone with wifi access, you can buy your ticket instantly. Mobile phone bookings via phone are currently not available.

  1. Hello, are all the tickets from the 28th December-3rd January sold out? I cannot see any openings on those dates. Is it still possible to buy tickets?

    Thank you

      Hello Dominik,

Thank you for your inquiry about services between Dec 24, 2019, and Jan 07, 2020 in the baths. While we normally would recommend online bookings to secure your appointments or entries, during the Winter Festive Season (Christmas and New Year – Dec 24 – Jan 7) the city attracts half a million extra tourists, which makes online fast track tickets to Szechenyi Baths simply non-fast track, and ticket holders are often held back in the – otherwise peaceful and expectant – crowds gathering around the entrances. Hence the managerial decision was made that no fast track entries or cabins (changing cubicles) are sold during the festive days, with the notable exception of the pre-NYE night party tickets, which will be bookable for December 30 as usual in Szechenyi Baths.Guests of day time visit will be checked in on a first-come-first-served basis. Unfortunately, we expect long queues due to the increased demand, even long lines in the cold. Please find more details, advice and other thermal bath alternatives on the following link: BathsBudapest.com/Dec

Enjoy the thermal baths in Budapest and explore some more if it is not your first visit in the city. Wishing you a great festive holiday in Budapest with this winter guide: http://budapestchristmas.com/

Here you can check out the opening hours on 31st Dec and 1st Jan: http://szechenyispabaths.com/szechenyi-bath-new-years-eve-and-new-years-day-opening-hours/ Other than that the bath will be open from 6 am until 10 pm.

We wish you a wonderful time in Budapest!

      Hello Natalie,

      Thank you for your questions.

For train time table please follow this link: https://www.mavcsoport.hu/en

You can check all the entry prices over here: http://szechenyispabaths.com/prices/

We would like to kindly inform you that online booking is not possible during the Festive Season (from 24th, 2019 Dec to 7th Jan, 2020) due to a managerial decision. Guests of day time visit will be checked in on a first-come-first-served basis. Unfortunately, we expect long queues due to the increased demand, even long lines in the cold so it might be a great idea to go the bath early to secure your entry to the bath.

The bath is open on both 25th and 26th December. For the Christmas opening hours please check this link: http://szechenyispabaths.com/szechenyi-bath-christmas/

We wish you a wonderful Christmas time in Budapest!

      Hello Sarah,

      Thank you for your comment.

Your ticket was sent to you earlier this morning.

  6. Is it possible to buy the tickets onsite for an early access to the baths at 6 am? My wife and I are arriving at Budapest Airport at 3.30 am next Monday and were planning to go there first thing in the morning. We’ve seen that online bookings only allow access from 9 am. Thanks

    • Szechenyi Spa Baths

      Dear Jagusev,
      Thank you for your comment.
Morning tickets can be bought from 6 am to 8 am and are available on the spot only, and you can stay until closing hours. Please note that the entry is NOT a multipass, it can be used only for a single entrance and exit. Once you entered the baths you cannot leave the building and go back later on with the same ticket.
Should you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
